We use a special upholstery
cleaning tool, so upholstery & matresses aren't left overly soaked and won't take more than a few hours to dry.

11-Step Upholstery Cleaning Procedure No corners are cut "Our upholstery
cleaners go through an intense 11-Step system so you'll get the cleanest, freshest and healthiest furniture possible. Other
upholstery cleaners in Rochester don't do half of the steps we do. Skipping any them will leave soil and spots behind."
Step 1) Pre-inspection:
The upholstery cleaner will take measurements, answer questions,
and address areas of concern. The exact cleaning investment is given before the cleaning begins. We will only proceed with
the cleaning if you approve of the work discussed.
Step 2)
Move Furniture: Each piece of furniture being cleaned will be pulled out away from walls or surrounding furniture so the
upholstery cleaner can access all sides. We ask that you remove any breakable items from table tops that may be next to the
furniture being cleaned.
Step 3) Dry Soil Removal: (very
important step) Dry soil is thoroughly removed using a high quality commercial vacuum. This is the most important
step in the upholstery cleaning process. Sadly, most other cleaners skip this step to reduce time. However, skipping
this step significantly reduces the amount of soil that can be extracted. Once dry soil becomes wet, it turns into a
fine grity type mud and is much more difficult to remove. We always include this step to remove maximum soil! Step
4) Pre-conditioning:
A pre-conditioner solution is applied to break down soil, body oils
and general spots. Heavily soiled areas receive extra conditioner.
Step
5) Pre-Spot:
Difficult spots are pre-treated with special spotting agents to
increase chances of removal. Our trucks are stocked with over 15 different spotting agents for all types of stubborn
stains.
Step 6) Agitation: (very
important step) The pre-cleaning solutions are brushed into the upholstery to further loosen soil below the surface for
a deeper cleaning.
Step 7) Rinse and Extraction: Your furniture is then disinfected, killing germs and bacteria by repeatedly rinsing using hot water without over-wetting
or leaving a soil attracting residue behind. It's important for upholstery cleaners not to leave behind soil attracting
residue because it will act like a magnet and attract large amounts of soil in a very
short period of time.
Step 8) Post-Spotting:
Any spots or stains that are still remaining get a second treatment with
our spotting agents for a repeated attempt at removing them. If the spot is removable (there some that are permanant)
we will get it out. Step 8.5) (Optional) We highly recommend
having your fabric protected after the cleaning for a longer life and fewer permanent stains. With the purchase of protector,
you receive a free bottle of professional spotter with lifetime refills and a 6-month, money back guarantee.
Our upholstery cleaners will discuss the important benefits of having fabric protector applied, but will never presuure you
into buying it. Step 9) Post-Agitation:
The upholstery is brushed again to help it dry faster and bring up
the nap (depending on the fabric).
Step 10)
Speed Drying: To further decrease drying time, a turbo air mover is placed on the floor
to speed up the drying process. Your fabric is left only damp and depending on the type of fabric, the air flow in your
home and weather outside, it should be bone dry within 2-8 hours. Fans will help it to dry much faster.
Step 11) Post-Inspection:
The cleaner will have you inspect the results to make sure you are thrilled
before we leave your home. If something isn't right we'll make another attempt at fixing it for you. Most
of these steps are standard cleaning steps according to the IICRC (the world's most recognized
body of education and certification in the upholstery cleaners industry).
An upholstery cleaner who performs all of these steps is providing the most thorough
upholstery cleaning possible. Isn't that what everyone wants? Why waste money hiring a furniture/upholstery cleaner who
doesn't do the job the way it should be done the first time.
A Few Words About Other Upholstery
Cleaners.... You should
always know what cleaning steps your furniture cleaner is providing for you. Almost all furniture cleaners who offer really
cheap prices or great deals, have no choice but to make many business sacrifices such as: - can't afford to have business insurance
- need to buy the cheap harsh cleaning products that might leave a soil attracting residue or not even work effectively
at cleaning the upholstery
- using old or inefficient equipment that might not remove maximum
water from the upholstery or might break down while cleaning
- not able to spend time performing
all the standard cleaning steps which means you receive a less than satisfactory cleaning or maybe even a horrible result
- can't afford to hire high quality responsible employees or pay them a good wage or provide benefits fto support their
family
- can't afford to come back if you are not happy with the results because time is money
and they didn't make enough on the first visit
So
ultimately you as the customer are taking a big chance just to save money. However, if you receive a poor cleaning and/or
have damage and can't get the company to do anything about it....did you really save any money?
So is it really worth the chance to you? Or would you rather feel good about the company you are hiring
because you know they have a great reputation, their is educated, knowledgeable, experienced, use high quality equipment and
cleaning products and offers a money back guarantee if you're not thrilled?

- Cleaning revives the color and adds life back into
the fabric.
- Trapped odors are removed so upholstery smells clean and fresh again (especially
if you have pets allowed on the furniture)
- Spots, soil build up and everyday air bourne particals
are removed
- An application of furniture protector shields against oils, dry soil damage from
everyday "wear & tear", and permanant staining.
Mattress Cleaning Just as Important.....Maybe Even More Important
To Have Cleaned Than Carpet & Upholstery! Most people don't feel a mattress needs to be cleaned unless there is an accident of some sort.
But what they don't realize is a mattress needs to be cleaned more frequently than your carpet and upholstery does. Having a mattress pad doesn't reduce the need for cleaning. 'Stuff'
still reaches the mattress. It's actually kind of gross...the stuff that accumulates on the mattress, like dead skin, dust
mites and their feces, body oils from sweat, and other unmentionables. And if you have pets who are allowed on the bed..... this
brings even more 'stuff' that gets deposited onto your mattress. So have your mattress cleaned frequently!
